This site is dedicated to the subject of methadone detox and maintenance. Although Methadone has helped many recovering heroin/opiate addicts get clean, it is not without its own side effects, problems and critics. However, it’s difficult to sift through all of the information and opinions based on this topic without getting overwhelmed about what to believe and what to write off as false.  

With this site, I hope to shed some light on the subject of using methadone as a way to detox, and hopefully equip you with what you need to know before you get started. My job will be to sort through all of the garbage, and give you just the facts, and your job will be to make a good decision based on my info. Sound good?
